love the eclecticism of his work! when designers use found objects, it creates a sense of nostalgia and i love how there can always be a surprise element - something that doesn't belong, but modernizing it in a visually beautiful way. check out more here!
so for this week's IDES project, we need to find different fireplaces and then diagram them to show the flue, damper, firebox, and hearth. and as i was searching for photos of different fireplaces, came across louisa grey. the muted colors just accentuate her pops of color! it seems so incredibly thoughtful.
i am a huge advocate for food network shows! my absolute favorite would be barefoot contessa...ina garten. and though i'm not nearly as talented as her, her cooking & baking totally inspires and teaches me everytime i watch her show. there's something so elegant yet simple about her! and as soon as i found this interview i knew there was an underlying reason i enjoyed watching her show. =)
